The new car detail has become very popular, it eliminates the huge cost the dealerships charge and uses far superior products at a smaller cost. I started offering the new car detail around 9 years ago, wanting to prepare a car properly, giving it the best start.

Cars never come from the dealers prepared anything like what they should, with fallout present from sitting around, light scratching from wipe downs and the rushed pdi wash. A lot of cars also have defects left from the factories with some supercars always having sanding marks left in the clear coat.

The new car protection detail consists of:

  • Thorough pre wash and wash using ph neutral shampoo & merino mitts (2 bucket method) and decontaminated
  • Vehicle dried using the finest towels available and air blower.
  • Wheels cleaned using a ph neutral wheel cleaner
  • Fully clean inner arches
  • Clay bar used to remove paintwork contamination
  • Mask up around the windows and trim with low tack tape
  • Take paint depth gauge readings
  • Single Stage machine polish to remove light paint defects (light swirl marks etc)
  • Wipe down with oil/filler remover
  • Apply wax or coating(customers choice)
  • Polish & buff glass
  • Apply wheel sealant (Kamikaze Stance wheel coating)
  • Apply tyre dressing
  • Dress inner arches
  • Clean & polish all chrome and exhaust
  • Coat all exterior plastics
  • Treat all door seals and rubbers
  • Full interior valet
  • Leather deep cleaned and coated with Dr Leather dye block
  • Fabric coated with Aeropace 303 fabric
  • Interior plastics cleaned and dressed
  • Final inspection
